Training Courses
8-Hour Awareness
Course stresses recognition and identification procedures. Provides
students with basic background and terminology as well as useful reference
materials.
16-Hour Operations
CBA's Emergency Response Operations Level course includes defensive
tactics for spill response along with hands-on practical instruction.
24-Hour Technician
The Emergency Response Technician Level course includes advanced defensive
and offensive tactics for spill response as well as a full day of hands-on
instruction.
24-Hour Hazardous
Waste
The 24 Hour Hazardous Waste Site Worker is targeted for individuals
engaged in federal, state, or municipally licensed hazardous waste operations.
This course complies with 29 CFR 1910.120 and EPA guidelines.
40-Hour Hazardous
Waste
The 40 Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Construction Operations course
is geared towards general site workers engaged in the removal and or
treatment of hazardous waste. The course also covers general construction
safety covered under 29 CFR 1910.126
Confined Space
This course includes recognition of "permit required" confined
spaces and the entry procedures associated with these spaces. An advanced
course is also available to provide confined space rescue procedures.
Incident Command
CBA's Incident Command training course incorporates a tabletop city
for simulating actual or circumstantial incidents. The tabletop city
"Hazardville" can be customized to include various types of
facilities.
